About Us

AnthroTronix is an Engineering and Development firm focused on Human Factors Interface and Design in regards to technology development. Specifically, we investigate, invent and develop next generation controllers, communication devices and processes to improve human interaction with robots, video screens, computers, and ultimately, other people.

AnthroTronix has designed and developed several instrumented gloves for various DoD and civilian agencies, and together with IDRTPartners, LLC created the AcceleGlove and Software Development Kit for commercial distribution.

AnthroTronix is a World Economic Forum 2004 Technology Pioneer, a Protégé with Lockheed Martin in the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program ,and was invited to attend Wired Magazine's NextFest 2004 as one of approximately 100 international companies developing "cutting edge" technology.

IDRT is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities through research and development, training, technical assistance, products and advocacy. Although our work benefits people with all disabilities, we specialize in research and development efforts on behalf of children and adults who are deaf and hard of hearing. IDRT has been working on a project to create a product for American Sign Language translation, out of which evolved the AcceleGlove. The first software product available using the AcceleGlove is AcceleSpell, a package of three learn to Fingerspell programs.
