In association with the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Advanced Technology Laboratory at Lockheed Martin has been a Mentor to AnthroTronix during the AcceleGlove program, as part of the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé program.
The mission of the National Robotics Training Center (NRTC) is to provide customers with strategic training and manufacturing technology solutions that optimize workforce productivity and throughput in advanced manufacturing environments.
The NRTC currently supports several small businesses in transitioning new products from design to production utilizing processes and tools standard in best practices methodology. NRTC can also provide production capabilities for companies that choose not to start production operations. The NRTC partners with the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology which provides many manufacturing technology resources to assist in development and implementation of production processes. These two operations are assisting with the manufacture of the AcceleGlove.
